Maybe some artists out there could come up with a design for a T-shirt that people could buy from the site. I'm thinking of something along the lines like the online store on www.verticalreference.com

It may be a good way to show solidarity on the flight line, the pub, or at the heli-conventions.

The Whirly-couple may have already thought of this as they usually come up with all the great ideas-but I just thought it might make an entertaining contest/poll for the best design?

Hi Chi-Town!

It is in the pipeline - as we recently changed the logo and site design we are also going to have new merchandise designed, which will be available in the soon-to-come HeliTorque store.

Besides the ordinary T-shirts with logos on them, what would you like to see on the T-Shirts? Funny slogans? Pictures? Anything in particular?

Give us your suggestions - as you say we could run this as a competition like we did witht the hi-viz jackets...

To emphasize the international nature of the group-How about all the flags from each represented country integrated somehow into the logo.

Maybe even the Evil Monkey?

Sorry guys, with a million and one things to do t-shirts had slipped down the list of priorities, however we do want to move forward with this and I'm thinking about opening a t-shirt shop and designing a variety of t-shirts and other merchandise to put in there.

What would be helpful is if you could suggest the kinds of things you would like to see on a HeliTorque t-shirt (besides the logo) to make it fashionable enough to go into your wardrobe. Clearly it would no good if I design a bunch of t-shirts that don't meet the requirements of your fashion sense!

I'm thinking along the lines of:

1. Design - Back, Front, or Back with a small logo on the left breast kind of thing?

2. Slogans? Funny? Serious?

3. Kinds of artwork you'd like to see on the t-shirt?

WE NEED T-SHIRTS THAT YOU'LL FEEL PROUD TO WEAR IN PUBLIC!!

If we could have a list of ideas, that would be a good start, then I can get things moving along with the designs. May even open up a competition for those artistic types amongst you! Laughing

RB, I don't think size will be a problem - I'm sure what ever we design will go up to XXL. We just need to get all the designs sorted out so that you can go out proudly sporting your helitorque apparel! Laughing

Sarah,

They look good but they need the website URL on there as just having the HT logo on there doesnt tell anyone what HT actually is. If you have the URL on the shirts or build it into the design with a .com in small letters on the end it might get people to be curious and go to the website.

Cheers

Ned

Ned,

Thanks for the feedback. Many of the shirts already have the web address on the back or on the sleeve, but I will also be adding a various designs over the next few weeks that also have the web site address on the front. Just wanted to kick it off with a few logo designs to start with.

If anyone wants to order a t-shirt, you actually get free delivery until next Wednesday by entering the voucher code Valentine07 at the checkout.
