We will behave ourselves Wink

By the way, love the avatar! Do you really have any skills or is it just a myth?

Was I correct in thinking I saw you, WhirlyGirl and your other half at Heythrop Park on Sunday?

If I did I'm sorry I didn't say hello but didn't want to look a bigger fool than normal. I was only watching not working...

The flying was good and I noticed that on the fender competition the military crews tended to hold the fender as far forward as they could, pull up short, get a swing on it and drop into the barrels...

I was there making mental notes as if all thing work out well I'm going to be part of the "construction crew" for the World Champs next year.

Hi OAW!

You're quite right! Myself, WhirlyGuy, Capt. blme and Catwoman were there watching with the great big picnic!! Aww, you should've said hi! I actually was wondering if you'd be there, but wasn't quite sure I'd recognize you from the little avatar! Saw a few familiar faces amongst the marshallers!!

I'll be getting around to posting some pictures later on. By the way, where abouts were you sitting?

I wish I had hello now... I was sat by the trees trying to see around the brown Cortina when I was eating my lunch.

I was commiting a crime against humanity by exposing my knees in public...! Shocked So probably best I didn't say hello! Laughing I also had on a white Turweston Aerodrome British GP T-shirt ('03 I think it was)

I saw a few people I knew too (mainly members of the VAC Committee). On the flying front I know Nick Hawes (also on the committee) who was competing yesterday in his R22.

Well, there will be other opportunities I'm sure!! Did you get any good pictures? We were sitting behind a white car, which I think was next to the brown Cortina!! Anyway, we had a great time. Hope you did too!

I hope to have managed a good picture or two. Not digital yet so I'll have to wait to get them done...

So close...! As you say sure that there will be other times to say hello...

I was there with a couple of our team that, as I said, will be at the worlds, and my mum came along too... Nice family sort of day. It was a good event I thought and fantastic seeing all those helicopters on the lawns at the end of the day. Nice against the back-drop of the house.

Here are some of our images from Sunday. Had a great time - we were very lucky with the weather. And we got to fly in too. Smile
