Wow! Congratulations! Very Happy

It's a fantastic feeling isn't it?

Although at the time, I remember being incredibly nervous of being the only person responsible for not crashing! Wink

Well done again! Cool

Again another massive well done from me.
You looked very in control when you went solo. Difficult getting you back down again though. Smile

We all know you love it up there but you have to come down at some time!! Smile

Luckily it took place far enough from the window so those watching could not put me off!! There is however some video, which if I can manage to upload it in a reasonable format, I wil post a link. However it's a little small dot hovering in the distance as it was so far away!! lol!

They also say that your number of landings should equal the number of take-offs.

Now, during training, I'm sure that's become unbalanced, somehow. Wink

Outstanding! Congrats!

Did you have that moment just before you pulled pitch, where you thought: "I'm I really ready to do this?", or were you so excited that you just did it and were stunned later?

I second the takeoffs = landings rule.

I had absolutely no doubts at all! I just did! It all seems like a bit of a blur now, but at the time it felt right. "I had control!"

Now I just want to do it again! Very Happy

Hello again!

I went flying again today! Yes, you can't keep me away from the place! Wink

Did another 3 ups and downs (solo) which went very well. Managed to come down a bit quicker this time!! Hehe! Even though I wanted to stay up there all day. Wink

Can't wait to fly again, but probably opting for the cinema this weekend instead! We are gonig to see the aviator!! 4 flights this week though! Must be a record. I am getting more and more addicted every time I fly. Very Happy

Hoping to finish my PPL(H) by the summer.

Pretty soon you'll feel more comfortable by yourself then with your instructor. Mine told me that I'd want to "kick his ass out" after I did my solo.

It's sort of like when you first got your driver's license and your parents were in the car. You felt as if they were watching your every move (which they were since it WAS their car). Now you'll be able to make all those small errors and fix them yourself without anyone knowing about it!

Well Done! Makes you wonder what the fuss and worry was about now, eh?!
