i have the instrument check ride on friday and i am not that jittery as i was for primary. Basic instruments and advanced instruments are not that hard, when we flew vfr i found myself tracking the instruments in my cross check anyways. man what i wouldnt have given to know that stuff during primary. LMAO

i will let you guys know how it goes on friday evening.

check ride wasnt that bad, did an ITO, vor tracking, shot the vor approach, alt. missed approach to hold over ndb, showed entry and wind drift correction, then shot an ils. oral was pretty basic from what i understand and got a 91 overall.

Great Job!

Looks like you are tracking right along.

Any thoughts on what airframe you want to track?

As always, if you have any questions drop me a line!

Dont worry about tracking just yet. You have a few years before you have to make that call. Work on getting the airframe you want right now!

Im in Arizona flying RC-12s and having a good time. It's not as diverse as helicopters though. I can see myself back in the fling wing in the next 4 years.

You will fly plenty of terrain flight when you start in your airframe. Don't sweat it.

Rucker is starting to turn out pilots who are afaid of flying the aircraft though. Don't let some overriding excuse for extreme safety to get in the way. I'm not saying don't fly safe, only that sometimes you can't eliminate risk by removing tasks. You only train inferior aviators that way.

Keep at it...See ya on the flight line!
