Had an invitation to Newmarket races for the day later this month
Plan to fly in.
Anyone flown in there before and know what the process is before I pick up the phone to the course? _________________ heliaviator(Ian) PPL(H) R44

i'm in and out all the time, basic deal is look in pooleys for the strip map. the 'runway' is 14/32 landings to be to the south (r/w 14),take offs to the north (r/w 32). dont overfly the national stud (w of the strip, looking at the pooleys page it is in the bottom right corner below july landing) no take offs or landings while racing is on helis to park at the south end of the strip.
the runway is a 'dead end' in that at the end are some trees and a fence seperating it from the stands etc and on racedays a chap will pick you up to take you to the course in an audi estate
ps dont p!55 them off, i land there a lot ! lol! _________________ R22, H269, R44, B206, EC120, AS350,
