You have to complete a GA form and fax to Customs in the UK; it has your outbound and inbound details as well as crew/pilot details/passport numbers etc. This has to be filed with differing minimums depending where you are flying from; not so much for the outbound leg, but more for your inbound leg.

Flight plan has to be completed and faxed to Heathrow in my case as I went from a private site
