Flyer and anyone else who wants to meet up...

I'll be on the Heli Ops stand most of the time, but if I'm not there I'll probably be roaming about taking pictures. The stand is near the door that leads to the outdoor static display and the chalets. Do stop by and say hello!!

I see most of you are coming along on Wednesday - if you want to suggest a meeting place and time then feel free to post it up on this thread and we can all try to make it there, otherwise we may bump into eachother anyway. I'm sure you all know what I look like by now! Wink

C u there!

Sarah

We have an aircraft today after all Smile It is sitting on the apron ready to go. But, "the FOG" has stopped play Sad

So we still won't be coming down to HeliTech.

Can't make it tomorrow because blme has students in, and it looks as thought the weather is going to be better - typical!

Maybe we will get there next time it is on.

I'm going Thursday, I believe the static display departs on the thursday afternoon, so something extra to watch.

Will pop into the Heli-ops stand to say hello.

I eventually made it yesterday despite public transports best efforts to stop me... (delayed trains, cancelled trains, slow trains, then no bl00dy courtesy buses running so a 50 min bus trip and then a 10 min walk!)

Managed to say Hi to Sarah and grab a look around before the slog back home...

And as for the 2.00 a bottle for 300 ml of Coke, etc. makes flying seem cheap!

Nice to see everyone at the show! Good to catch up with the regulars and meet the newbies.

See you all at the next one!

Sorry I couldn't make it - I have a business trip next week and have had to work this one to make up for time to be lost!

Considering the many reports of what this 'stuff' does to your health and your innards, (not to mention in this case, your WALLET Shocked ) I'm surprised anyone goes near it anymore and at that price - choose water! I remember in the 1980's meeting a few chaps who worked at the Coke Factory (Wakefield?) and their useful Pub Quiz info was that what they put in the tin costs less than 1p. I don't suppose much has changed, except the profit, since most 330ml tins are nothing less than 50p now and in many cases (not just at HT) more..

A good show i thought.
Apart from the cost of the catering. 4 for a small box of noodles, lucky I took some water in with me.

Spoke to several helitorquers and caught sight of others. Stayed till about 5pm and saw most of the static display depart.

Hi Martin,

Nice to see you today. Sorry if I seemed miles away - was trying to do about 7 things at once at the time! Hope you had a good show. I enjoyed it very much. There was a real buzz at this one and it was great to see so many like-minded heli-nuts there.
