Just to let you know, HELiDAYS will be FOUR days this year - Thursday has been added to the normal Friday, Saturday and Sunday dates. Fly in early, bring your comfy chairs and enjoy the flying display - featuring the Red Arrows!
Also, the possiblilty of a "Welcome Drinks" party on the Thursday ... and perhaps an Open Dodgem challenge on the Friday evening? BBQ on Saturday...
Anyone got any offers of sponsorship? - not asking for much ... a volunteer to bring the teabags and a tea urn would be good!! Please remember Helidays is staffed entirely by volunteers - no one takes any money from the event, the bulk of the proceeds go to The Helicopter Museum, with other donations to local charities ... who also benefit from free space at the event ... so have to watch our spending on "fun", however, if anyone wants to bring anything along to enliven the event please feel free!

Welcome Bee2 - has "dad" fixed you up with the parts yet? he's arrived back from the US with a rather large package with your name on it (I think)
No X rated stuff? Surely not Sir, I'm a pro-pilot and would'nt dream of it
The weekend after the WSM event, we're having a party at my place. All helicopter's welcome! No CAA, No ATC, and the only rule is, don't crash into my hangar!
Forgot about the display day buggar, another day off work

BEE2 - I am happy to pay for the tea bags, will £100 do it?
Are we having a pilots tent for tea this year? it would be nice to have somewhere to meet the other people flying in and possibly keep out the spotters

It's called the pub RB
But I know what you mean though - that's possibly why we all end up in the control tower when it rains! Nah, lets keep it relaxed and official-free. _________________ TC - Pilot to the Stars.

TC - I was very excited to read that your Dad has a "rather large package for me" ... unfortunately I have also now realised that you mean a package of helicopter bits .... and they're not for me, they are for my "dad"!!! So much disappointment ...
And don't tell me there is nothing X-Rated about you .... I seem to remember a telephone message only the other day!!!
RB - Thank you very much for the tea bag offer .. now we just need a tent offer ... I have a two-man (just don't tell TC!) ... but anyone is welcome in my "office", however, we won't really need a tent because it will be warm and sunny!!! If you bring some folding chairs with you, you can set them out in the fenced off area by air traffic.
More Thursday Display News:
We have had confirmation that the Black Cats will do a display on the Thursday, an offer of an EH101 display and an SAR demo from a Belgian Sea King ... |

Bee2
Are you sure that they will do a display or will they just buzz anyone a mile out in a plastic dinghy?
