Today was supposed to contain a 0.9 hour revision flight - to make up the 45 requirement and then my GFT Shocked .

Alas, it was blown sideways into next week. After a small "interesting solo XC" last week (if ever we meet, ask me, I'll buy the tea) - I was all geared up for today.

Now, I have a week to stress out again. So, tips, hints, fond memories of GFTs welcome.

I'll take the good, the bad but please leave the ugly - don't scare me off Smile.

Hi rjc,

The best advice I can give you is don't get yourself too worked up about it. Just be yourself and fly the aircraft. On the morning of my test I remember doing a quick revision session and at first I completely messed it up because I was all tense about it - half an hour later I was much more relaxed and then the test went really well. I was really glad I had that chance to warm up a bit!

Anyway, I hope it goes well for you, just keep focused but don't stress!
