Opening the presents christmas morning just gone and thought "oh great, another book" (with a healthy dose of sarcasm). To my suprise the book had a big red S-61 on the cover.Things were looking up!

The book is called Nine Lives by David Courtney,who started flying with the Irish Air Corps and then went on to civilian work. It is an excellent read and offers terrific insight into the world of both military and civilian SAR. Definitely one for the collection.

Er.. I know there is a time difference between the UK and US but nearly 2 months?! Smile

Haha,quick off the mark wolfy! I actually sent it on st stephens day but we still have dial up in the west of ireland, and the page only loaded yesterday! Laughing
