SF,
Scary thing is all those quotes came from other posts made by PD.
And there's shed loads more.
Gets his viewpoint in to context for me

I do believe that everyone has a right to an opinion. However this forum has always been free from wild speculation and extreme political rants. I only hope that it will remain a neutral utopia where we can wait for the truth to come out in the fulness of time and we who may have a difference of opinion can agree to do so. Any situation where lives have been lost impacts everyone in and around the industry. Respectful wishes to all those who have suffered loss. _________________ R22 2.6 h/r wanting more, a hell of a lot more |

Seriously, if that post is to stay, then this thread needs splitting. It will not serve as a pleasant reminder when the report is published, and tagged on to the end. _________________ J. |

If the post stays, the picture should go, no matter what, the innacurate drivel in the two posts may well be of interest to some, indeed last night I almost wrote a reply to it all and dealt with each of the technical issues in the posts, but after a little research into this man and some of his websites and his blog I decided not to.
The picture is offensive and, as one the pilots I work with yesterday who saw me hit the roof when I saw it, said to me it is infantile.
JTL has a very good point about when we come back to this in the future to discuss the AAIBs findings.
Please Sarah get rid of the picture, if not the posts and possibly the idiot who put them there in the first place. |

This is just getting plain ridiculous now. The press are lazy, and just picking up on everything NS related incident now. _________________ "Apocalypse now. Avoid the rush."

Always the way, fendersim. As soon as a major incident happens, be it aviation, trains, or otherwise, the minor incidents seem to get reported far far more than ever before. Might be because of a temporarily increased public "appetite" for such stories? It's a phenomenon that I reckon lasts about a month. Then they lose interest.... _________________ J. |
