TC - yes the hotel is as dissapointing as always - which is a shame.

I have uploaded 20 or so pictures on the gallery http://www.helitorque.com/portal/modules.php?set_albumName=album26&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php

As for G-CEEE - have a look here - www.pbase.com/kbmphotography/hcgb2005

Over 900 images in total of just 21 competitors so there is sure to be onw of you somewhere!!

Hi,

shame we didn't bump into you there Alan. Great photos though.

Thomas, what was the problem with the black flag then? We noticed they allowed you back to do bin A on the fender.....

It was great to see so many helicopters at one event. The visitors' enlcosure, where we parked, looked fantastic, with two full lines of machines, mainly robinsons, lining the sides of the avenue of trees there.

I'll be putting a selection of photos up on my gallery fairly soon.

Shame it was so cold, but it didn't spoil the pleasure.

Adam.

Cold and overcast, but it didn't stop me getting a little sun-burnt, Adam. When I got home last night, my face was a bit on the sore side. Can't believe that wearing a jacket all day, under pretty much unbroken cloud, that one can get burnt!

Anyway, nice to put some faces to names. TC, I've got plenty of pictures of you and Will - I'll post some of my better ones later on. They won't be anywhere near as good as Alan or Adam's efforts though!

Cool

It confused all of us - apparently the black flag waver was under the (erroneous) impression that the time limit for the fender event was 1 minute for all three fenders. There is no maximum time int the rules - except that after 330 seconds you would be into negative points.

All those that were black flagged were allowed to re-run.

Ah, that makes sense - we thought it was something to do with a time limit.

sandy, I presume you were taking part - which machine were you in?

And can anyone post the results - how well did Helitorquers do?

TC spoke to Rutty today and explained the position and he will give you a call. More than one beer I owe you both Embarassed Embarassed

Hotel grounds fantastic for space but quality of service at hotel beyond belief. Evil or Very Mad

We are always looking for more judges and at the championships if you can work a stopwatch and write your name clearly you are all welcome. Get your names down now for next years event (probably at a new venue).

A few shots from Saturday when the sun was shining all day.

Great we found Line D Very Happy

Keep plotting TP2 must be here somewhere ?? Shocked

Is that really TP2 ! Rolling Eyes

Alan - fantastic pictures, shame the weather wasn't like that on Sunday. I did see you from afar yesterday, but you looked somewhat busy.

As promised, some of my pictures from the event.

Shoo!

Not sure if these two characters were trying to take part...
