Has anybody else noticed that when you edit one of your posts it now tells you when it was edited? I think it might be my computer mis-behaving, but we couldn't get that feature working before and now it's just come on!

Perhaps it's a new script feature, I noticed it suddenly started working on a couple of other boards I post on too. Strange. WG

Yes - I saw that too!
Is there any way of making the page open the most recent post when you click on the thread by the blue square? Saves (milliseconds) of scrolling..

Tip - if you have the HTq home page up on a snoozing PC, when you look at it next, just press F5 and it refreshes the page and squares go blue if anyone else is awake.

FF

PS - How can I make the nice blue my default colour?

Cap't BLME and myself had to go to Costock in mid-June to collect an R22 (G-TORS). What a day that was - there is a long story attached to the run up to our visit to Costock, and an even stranger one later that afternoon!
Nothing we do is straightforward, and there is always something strangely different about our days. Maybe if you are at the HeliTorque bash, we will tell you all about 'that day'. Whirlygirl and Whirlyguy know what we mean!!

Actually, the airfield was quite busy that day when we arrived, around 3.00pm - there were LOADS OF HUGE HARES EVERYWHERE!! They didn't bat an eyelid either when we landed, or even when we took off!! Rolling Eyes

Clicking on a link from an e-mail should take you directly to the latest posts, but from browsing... let me see...

Yes, got it! Where it says "last post" and the persons handle who posted (on the right hand column) click on the little "page" icon and it should take you straight to the latest post. Am I making sense? Probably not... see if it works.

Hi all, I have just found this site and registered and it looks great.
I have one question though, I wish to change my screen name that appears on the forum but keep my user login name.... It looks like this is not possible unless I register again with my new screen name, that is unless an Administrator can help me or you know of any tricks?

Ciao,
Paul

Hi Paul!

Welcome to the forum!! I have re-configured the site to permit changes of user name so it should work now, however your username has to be the same as the screen name.

Hope this answers your questions - look forward to hearing from you again! Smile

Thanks WG.

My user name is Vigor now, maybe in the next version of this software we will be able to split our screen name from our user name - that would be nice then you can call yourself what you like without remembering too many logon names as there are enough of them on the internet as it is.

Anyway Im not complaining, Ill work with it. I've been reading most of the threads over the past couple of days with interest and would love to join in soon, except Im not actually going to start flying until February. So until then I shall read everything and poke my nose in now and again until I have the same experiences that you lot are having. I am studying the books at the moment so found the vortex stuff etc interesting.

Chat soon,
Vigor/Paul

Welcome Vigor,

Why don't you post into "Calling All Rotorheads" in the Torque, Chat and Chill forum? Tell us how you got into helicopters, where you're planning to fly from, etc.

I heard about Helitorque from the Heli-Air website forum which is pretty new... There was a link there to this site and the rest is history. Since then I have learnedd of the Pprune.org site which proves that the "WEB" works!
I'll be doing my training with Heli-Air at Denham - sorry I don't know the airfields codes yet!!! E??? I guess ha ha...

Hi Vigor!

Have only been to Denham once (EGLD). I train at HeliAir Wellesbourne. If you're ever over this way give us a shout and we can meet up. Smile
