Dunno about you guys but I was mightily impressed by the Chinook display - never seen one thrown around quite like that before.

As a non-helicopter aside, I thought the Red Arrows were better than I have ever seen them, and it was nice to feel such a patriotic pride swell amongst the crowd as they appeared. One of the best bits of the show was as we left, walking back past their lineup just as they strapped in to leave. It was nice to see the obvious pleasure both the pilots and ground crew got from waving to the crowd as they taxied out (and Foxy babe rather enjoyed it too Wink ).

I'll post a link to my pics once I've emptied them out of the camera.

There you go - some heli's - though small as from the climbout!

(Explains why I didn't get to them Alan, didn't go further west than the hopitality area....!Smile

AlanM

Sorry only really concentrated on the helicopters (as you would expect) and occasional fast jet. I have asked my polish friend if he has taken a photo but will have to wait as he is still using film and has to get them processed.

I am off to Australia for 6 weeks this weekend and should have a reply when I return.

Are you going to the World Helicopter Championships ?
