At the risk of copying 'that' website....

How about a (pre)Christmas fly -in/get together/drunken party?

I know we don't have the same numbers here but a smaller do from experience is better anyway!

Now all we need is someone with big garden and friendly neighbours.... Wink

Catwoman - I have fixed your stutter... you must have pressed back on your browser and re-posted!

Alan and Pilotwolf - Where are you both from? We are from Birmingham, we usuallly go and invade Cptn Blme's and Catwoman's house when we want to have drinkies! (or they come here) but there isn't really anywhere to fly into, except of course BHX. Hmm, now there's a thought. But ridiculous landing fees, so maybe not...

Where is Thomas Coupling? He might have a few good suggestions on this - we all know how he likes to party! Wink

Sad

You have me all wrong WG - I normally like to go to bed by 9pm with Coco (Well at least thats the name she likes to go by Laughing )

A fly in sounds good before Christmas - How about a spot of Welsh hill flying, followed by lunch at Shobden subject to Wx of course?

I'd have to pass on a "party" type "Party" until the Spring (When you all will be MOST welcome to fly in to my new place (Luton ASU and Northants Heli-Med will be dropping in for a shandy I expect Wink )

TC, Bed by 9pm? I don't think so. Mind you, you did slope off rather early when we had the Weston fly-in... but that was becuase you had a sudden urge for fish and chips wasn't it?! Wink

So, the Welsh mountains, eh... not exactly the nightlife capital of the world, but it sounds like and exciting trip. Plenty of sheep though (erm, don't know where that came from - just an observation really). Shocked We still need to find someone with a large garden though.

OR

We could take tents and plenty of liquid dinners under our seats, but it might be a little cold for camping!! Where does everybody live?

I have to admit that it was a case of too many glasses of wine last night that caused the stuttering finger!!!
Daughter's birthday - so did some celebrating!!!

Watching the postings on the helitorque party suggestions with interest!

Hi TC, how are you?

Early night indeed!!! Ha Ha!! Even the fish and chips isn't a good enough excuse to crawl away that early!

Ooh this place is getting nice and colourful Smile

Alan, you are not the only one without a PPL(H)! Some of us are not quite there yet!! But I am sure you can hitch a ride! I guess it depends on where we have this HeliTorque bash! A location central to everyone would be good...

Spent the last hour on the helicopter simulator! Hmm, much harder than the real thing - managed to do a rather interesting maneuver and land updside down. Probably something to do with the beer I have been drinking... thank heavens it wasn't the real thing!! Shocked

Back to the heli technical book I think...

Hey, the binge was bl**dy great! You would've loved it. We were still eating Chinese at 2 in the morning, after the pub crawl! What could be better than that?!

Oh, ok I am sure you had an equally fantastic time. Wink

Well, lets try and have a re-run then, and this time you can try the binge...! Rolling Eyes
