Hi,

I took a friend flying over Medway and the Thames Estuary last night, an hour before sunset; landed 10 mins after sunset.

He took some awsome photos while I was flying, including Jules Holland's house, the lovelly patterns in the river banks along the estuary, some great sunset pics, and also some of the old WWII forts along the river

There were also four hot air balloons flying around that evening, right up to ad beyond sunset.

Also photographed the helipad at Rochester hospital.

Enjoy.

Evenings like that remind me of why I learnt to fly in the first place... I'm jealous! Nice pics, as always, Adam. Cool

I've finally got round to putting up some photos in my gallery area on here, and also a link to my own personal gallery on my own server.

Go to the Helitorque Photo Gallery, to the left, and select my name (Adam Bailey).

Here's the direct link:

Some really nice photos in there Adam. Funny seeing Rochester, as I spent a fantastic morning plummetting repeatedly onto their RW20 today during my R44 LPC today. What a day to be flying! We commented that with the visibility was so good we would have trouble navigating as we can't usually see that much! Some lucky guy was having a trial lesson in the '22 at Rotorvation - with flying on a day like today I somehow reckon he'll be hooked...
