DATES! When shall we go? (Presumably, we'll try to keep it to a one day event, as per February.)

1st or 2nd October
8th or 9th.
15th or 16th
22nd or 23rd
29th or 30th.

I agree one day, from Denham i'ts 1.4/1.5hr each way, Less for u I guess.
It would be great to give some non-pilot helitorque members a chance to fly-in;
I will have 3 spare seats, so can pick up at Wellsbourne as its on the way.

8th or 9th.
22nd or 23rd
29th or 30th.

Depends if go for R22 or R44 - I think I'd go for R44 TBH, it'll give me a chance to errr, fly it!

R22 I'd planned for 1.1 without wind. With the 40 knot wind that day, the plan worked out to be nearer 1.9! (coming home would have been fun!)

Sounds good to me! A Sunday would suit better though - I work Saturdays.

Would you be stopping at Shobdon first, or going straight over (last time we only got as far as Shobdon!!).

Don't forget it's starts to get dark earier the later we leave it. I haven't got a problem with any of the Sundays in October - they're all pretty free at the moment.

Anybody got a preferred date in mind?

I agree! Earlier in October is best for light - the last Sunday in October the clocks will have changed... Confused

So, shall we look for 9th October then?

Weekend Warrior - what about you and Mrs Woz, can you do anything around then?

I would love to go, but currently I think i would exceed the seat limit even in a R44 ( it's something like 20 stone ish isn't it).

My winter diet session starts Monday so will look forward to next year's events.

Cheers

Martin
