Is that like a helicopter converted to have a giant water tank in the passanger compartment and then jets to dispatch the water onto the fire in a much more controlled fashion? If so how do you fill it up? hover low over water or land on a site and get the tank refilled by a tender?

Yes,
it can be filled both way from hover or landing and than from available
sources.
System works on 25 bar pulse pressure and exit speed of 100 micron
water droplets of average 400kmh. System is useful up to 75 m
distance. Tank size can go up to 3-4.000 lit of fluid.
One pulse uses 25 lit so 3000 lit equals 120 pulses.
Pulse system thanks to atomization have 10:1 better effect...
100 lit from pulse system, equals 1000 lit from classic water bomber.
Unique option is night VFR use....on critical urban protection lines
or on towers above 10th floor.
