... sorry guys, but its a request for it!

Those of you who know me will know that I never run, and walking is a chore ( Laughing ) - but for a good cause (The Warwickshire & Northants Air Ambo), I am taking part in their 5km Heroes Run.

More info about the WNAA can be found here.

But I'd be really grateful if you could sponsor me here.
(remembering that every little helps!! Failing that, please arrange for a pint for the end of it for me!!)

Thanks guys.

C.

C'mon guys, let's get behind him here. After all, he might need a push.

Or a stunt double! Laughing

One of my friends, when told about this said (and I quote): "You couldn't even run a bath, never mind 5k." I thought this was very funny!!

You do realise, we will require some sort of photographic evidence posted on here.

Just bumping this thread back up..! Cool

Come on guys, the Air Ambulance charities are, in my opinion, some of the most worthwhile charities you could donate to. Every little helps, as they say! Okay, I admit - I'm being entirely selfish here; your donation could help to save your life. Or more importantly, mine. Think of it as an insurance policy, if you like.

This particular Air Ambulance service covers very busy stretches of the M1 and M6 - how often do you use those roads?

And, WNAA's machine is a lovely brand new Agusta 109 Power (G-RSCU). I can't think of many heli's better than the 109 that I'd want to be stretchered into the back of, if the unthinkable should ever happen.

Not long now, Craig! Just next weekend. Have you done any training yet...? Wink

No, its a week on Sunday!

I've been down the gym a fair bit of late - so if anyone else fancies sponsoring me, or coming down on the day for a laugh you're welcome!!

Just thought I'd let you all know that it all passed off peacefully yesterday, it took me just over 33 minutes to do it.

Including offline and giftaid I raised 403 for the Air Ambo. You can still donate though if you haven't: www.justgiving.com/craig-parsons.

Thank you to all those who sponsored me!
