A buddy of mine who is a Pilot told me that he (along with a handful of others) thinks it was the carb heat NOT being on. Which led to this, then that... anyways i dont really remember. But im anxious to find out.

I did stop flying and now im back in Northridge, CA.

Van Nuys, if you do not already know, is one of the sweetest non commercial aiports in the US. I beleive a statisitc I read stated something along the lines of , "Busiest non-commercial aiport in the world".

Im 10 minutes from it!

Aside from seeing every known flying piece of metal 500 feet above my ahead in every which way i look at any time of the day, sometimes i go down there to see it all.

I will begin my training this summer at a FBO there. Theres 4 or 5 that offer rotary training, and I am not sure which to choose yet because everyone has different prices, package deals, and gotta look into those track records.

Till then Ill keep studying and lurk these forums.

Ah Van Nuys... spent many a day there or rather evenings. Was always a good destination for an evenings flight with dinner at the hotel.
