Hello guys I'll be honest I know next to nothing about helicopters but I'm hoping you could help me out with a predicament I find myself in.

I live in Hampstead North West London and last Saturday Morning at around a quarter to 9 whilst strolling about, at what I only can presume is low level (apologies my helicopter knowledge is next to nothing!) a helicopter whizzed past at what I'm certain is not the normal flying route. I was wondering since I know the exact location and time of the helicopter passing, is there any way in which I could track what the helicopter itself was therefore allowing me to find out it's purpose? My reasoning for wanting this information strange as it seems is due to an OCD anxiety linked condition as I'm worried the aircraft may have been filming. Also if any of you guys could provide a list or point me in the direction of helicopters which are used for filming within London I would be eternally grateful. Finnally aswell is there a way of identifying the non police and non rescue service helicopters which are allowed to fly 'free range' if you like throughout the day? And also is it only TV/film recording crews which have this privilege? This itself would hugely narrow down what the helicopter itself may have been. Although the helicopter was I believe blue and yellow (My friend is adamant it was grey!) I am sure it was not that of a police helicopter.

Am sorry this beginners message has taken up space on your forum but if anyone could help me out It would be much, much appreciated.
This message may well do the rounds on many a helicopter forum!
Thank You

With the greatest of respect, I think your time would be better spent seeking treatment for your condition rather than seeking help on online forums in order to try to validate it.

The best of luck.
