OK - deliberately misleading title, sorry!
I'm a fairly new member of this forum and it seems a real shame that there's not very much going on here, so I thought the best way to fix that is to start contributing myself, if only so that other people could come and show me how to do it properly!
I'm sure that a bit more activity will generate a bit more interest, and as a result, other people posting far more interesting things than I ever could. I am a member of a couple of other forums (fora, for the pedants) and I have noticed that even if the topic is slightly off the wall, it generates discussion (and thread creep) which is how a forum begins to flourish.
So, if you're a member who is disappointed that there's not much happening, please try to think of one topic that interests you and post it - don't assume there won't be a response because I, for one, will endeavour to continue the thread.
Am I alone here or is anyone else up for injecting a bit of vitality into this place?
