Yes. I think we'll give them a table to themselves...! Wink

(Any more takers? I'll give Miah's a call this evening, and just firm up the numbers.)

Just spoken to Vera in the Tower, I haven't asked for PPR before - she simply said call when you're on yer way - which I would anyway Smile so I did give her my details for the record and I feel happier that I'm expected.
I seem to be Captain Fox now... sounds very important!

Hmm. Given that I'm driving, does that make me Captain Slow for the day... Geddit? Laughing

Confused

Rolling Eyes

Never mind.

I've just spoken to the restaurant to confirm the reservation, and upped the numbers to 19 (as confirmed above). If there are a couple of extras, this isn't a problem for them!

Now, what shall I have.... Mmmmm. Rogan Josh? Maybe a Jalfrezi? Perhaps that'll be too hot for a lunchtime.... Very Happy Cool

If the weather is no good for flying on Sunday, we still intend to get to Tollerton/Nottingham - but drive instead......
But, looking at the forecast - the weather looks good on Sunday for flying..

See you all on Sunday ...... at Miah's

Okay you Guys....I know I have a 'good' reputation for ALWAYS getting the weather right for the HeliTorque 'get-togethers'!!!!! But, for the Tollerton/Nottingham lunch.....weather looks good! So, you pilots, board your helis and meet at Tollerton /Nottingham and see you at Miah's for that loveeerrrrlllly curry!

Actually, if me and blme can't fly up for some reason (i.e. lack of availability of suitable aircraft), we may possibly turn up on our Triumph Tiger motorbike Cool

See you all on Sunday Cool Cool

Hi CW,

Having chosen and booked fine weather, are you going to fly en convoi with the WG's?

You could take some Heli-Ops style pictures as you pass over such landmarks as Coventry Cathedral, Bosworth Battlefield, former GC Railway sheds at Loughborough, Eiffel Tower... the list is nearing its end..

Eek! What has happened to the weather? Yikes!

Fogged in? Move north Whirlygirl - it's blue skies and sun all the way here! A top day though heavy frost first off.

Fog here all morning so far. And a light coating of frost to start with.

Fog looked like it was burning off earlier, but I think it has become more dull in the last hour or so.

Weather tomorrow will be fine... remember, I'm not flying! Wink

Beautiful weather here in Wellesbourne all morning - clouds gathering to the south at the moment, but nothing to worry about.

Fog has been predicted for tomorrow though - but let's hope it burns off before take-off and especially so when landing Shocked

Even if fog puts paid to flying-in, who is still intending to descend upon Miah's Restaurant for that delicious curry Wink

We will be Smile And Rotorcraig will be Smile And I am sure WGuy and WGirl will be as well Smile
