...Now then, back to the important stuff The 'dodgem challenge" The Helitorquers won last year ....
Seeing as we were nearly all members on here that statement doesn't really count does it?
I also seem to recall it was declared a draw on the night (seeing as the ratio was 2:1 in the aircrew favour...)
Having read these forums on and off for a while I thought I had better register finally.
I will be at the Helidays this year along with Mrs Smokey and so look forward to meeting up with as many of the other members of the site as possible. Should be a good event this year with the addittion of the flying displays.
Flyer Sorry you won't be there, we will think of you with your "happy Visor" down.

Has anyone taken up the 'Sunfold Hotel' spare room offer from TC yet????
Also, who is flying in???? I know TC and 'Dad" are, and of course us!!!!
What about you Copterfan, are you flying in?? And Smokey, are you 'walking', or 'flyin', in?????? How will we recognise you? Unless, of course, we tell you what type of machine, and reg, we will be flying into Weston in and you can come over and 'welcome' us!!!
Shame JamesTLowe, and his good lady, Helen, can't make it that weekend but there is a good enough excuse!!! Lady Helen is running a marathon in aid of Cancer Research!!!!

I'm not flying in this year, if I did this at my early stage of learning it would be counted as theft (if I could find my way) and I would have a blue and yellow MD900 on my tail. Next year more likely! However, I will be driving in from visiting relatives in Gloucester. So, not far to come.
I haven't sorted where to stay yet, but will in the next week or so. If I can't find anywhere I'll crash out in Smokey's back garden (just kidding Smokey.)
Ot, but forgiveable I hope?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATWOMAN, many happy returns to a fellow Gemini!

Word of advice - if you plan to drive down on Saturday morning, either be early, or expect to get caught in M5 traffic around Bristol. Why on earth didn't I think about that last year?!? _________________ J.
