By the look of the forecasts for the weekend, the weather will be much the same as last year. Horrible for Saturday, quite pleasant for Sunday.

Therefore, on the basis most of us got utterly drenched last year on the Saturday, I reckon Sunday would be the better bet! Wink

And for the record, I've not got anything to do with helis booked for the weekend, so don't blame me for the weather!!!! Wink Cool

Why does the weather turn to pants on Heli Days weekend? We've had such beautiful weather and the moment we decide to go somewhere in a heli - bang - it thunders or rains or is foggy or hazy or...

Head Banging

We'll be there for all 3 days in a high skid white Jetranger, arriving tomorrow afternoon.

Are you going ASL?

Andy B,
the best day to go will probably be Sunday both for the weather and the flying. All of the helicopters need to leave the beach lawns at the end of Sunday and so you are sure to see everything fly that day.

Hope to be there on Saturday but work is very busy right now, hope to make the BBQ on the Saturday evening at least.

Mike.

B206 - G-SPEY will be there. (in fact leaving later today when the fog lifts)

Here we go again - IFR flight under the 7 bridge following the coast to WSM Sad

We've packed clothes for rain, sun & high wind - what a bummer Evil or Very Mad

see you all there - fly safely.

Have a lovely weekend folks - I'm sorry I can't be there.

I will be thinking of all those lovely helis (well, G-SPEY anyway) parked up on the beach, whilst I'm hurtling down the bobsleigh track in Riga! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Hope the weather's better than last year. If it's worse, I hope you've packed the inflatable dinghys!! Wink

Whirls, take some pictures for me with that new camera of yours!

Cool

Nothing to tell, really. A stag weekend. In Riga. Which includes the bobsleigh; I presume it'll be on wheels, as I doubt very much if they've got snow and ice there at the moment!. Cool
